Meet our Owners:

Brenda L. Hoover, CPA

Brenda has been in public accounting since 1993.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Rockhurst College.  She provides tax and business consulting to a variety of small to medium size businesses along with their owners.  Her focus is on building a firm that is dedicated to providing top quality, personalized service to each client.

Christine M. Hibdon, CPA

Chris has her Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.  Chris specializes in Outsourced CFO/Controller services and has become an integral management arm for many of her clients.  She assists small to medium size businesses with a wide range of consulting services including tax and business planning.  She provides technical expertise in many industries including construction.

Meet our Staff:

Ashley Caster, CPA and MBA

Ashley has been in public accounting since 1995.  She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.  Ashley earned the Gold Medal in Missouri when she passed the CPA exam in 1993.  Ashley specializes in tax planning and preparation for individuals and small businesses.



Stacey L. Keenan,   CPA

Stacey has been with the firm since 2007.  She began her career in 1995 after graduating from Indiana University School of Law with her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree.  She graduated Cum Laude from Graceland College with a triple major in Accounting, Economics and Business Administration.  Stacey has been a CPA since 1996.  Stacey worked at Whipple & Company in Indianapolis from 1995-1996.  She moved to Kansas City and worked for Mayer Hoffman McCann L.C. until 2000.  After spending time at home with her children, she joined Hoover & Hibdon P.C. on a part-time basis.  Stacey is experienced in tax preparation, research and QuickBooks.

Robin Potts, CPA

Robin joined Hoover & Hibdon PC in 2008. She is licensed as a CPA and received one of the top ten scores in Missouri on the November 1999 CPA exam. Robin began her career in 1999, working in public accounting for a national firm. After several years at the firm, she took a brief hiatus from work and volunteered as a business instructor at a community college in Thailand.

When she returned to work, she pursued opportunities in private accounting and served as controller for one of Kansas City’s largest nonprofits. Robin is pleased to be back in the public accounting arena and really enjoys working with clients. Robin provides business consulting, tax preparation, and outsourced controller services.
